Laura Forst, preservation assistant, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art and Design in May, 2008. Her work experience includes State Historic Preservation Office surveys of historic buildings, HABS documentation, and a nomination to the National Register of Historic Places for an historic house in Savannah, Georgia. She has also analyzed National Register boundaries for the Historical District in Harrisburg, Virginia and aided in a proposal for its rezoning. Before joining Stephen Tilly, Architect, she made the connection between preservation and sustainable (green) design. This understanding prepares her to play a significant role in preservation projects as well as studio administration.
