fillertext | Gabriel Nichols, architectural designer, received his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University after studying at City College in New York and Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas. Internships in architecture and interior design gave him hands-on experience in a variety of areas, from preparing drawings to researching fixtures and finishes. His architectural bent started early, when he played in his aunt’s living room which was bisected by a stream running from a waterfall to a pool at the fireplace. Prior to deciding on a career in architecture, he worked in visual merchandising, attaining the position of assistant visual manager at Macy’s flagship store in New York. At Stephen Tilly, Architect, he will lend his skills to residential and institutional projects. |
