Allyson Mehley, preservation specialist, contributed to the National Trust-sponsored New Canaan Moderns Home Survey studying over ninety mid-twentieth century Modern homes in Connecticut and strongly advocated for the adaptive use of the historic Farley Post Office as a grand, new train station in midtown Manhattan. She gained hands-on experience through the University of Oregon Field School rehabilitating a Civilian Conservation Corps rustic structure. She also completed an internship at Jablonski Building Conservation in New York City where she conducted site surveys, materials investigation, and laboratory testing. Ms. Mehley holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University. At Stephen Tilly, Architect she is heading the preservation department and overseeing numerous projects and studies.
